Day 1: Introduction to the Sightseeing Spots
❶ Jodogahama
A representative scenic spot of Sanriku, featuring a beautiful contrast between white rock faces, green pines, and the deep blue ocean. It is said that over 300 years ago, Reikyo Osho, the 7th generation abbot of Miyakozan Jyoanji Temple, was so moved by the sight that he named it "Jodogahama," meaning it looks "just like the Pure Land Paradise."

❷ Miyako Umineko-maru
A sightseeing boat that departs from two piers—"Dezaki Pier " and "Jodogahama"—touring Sanriku Geopark geosites, including the nationally designated scenic spot "Jodogahama." Enjoy feeding the black-tailed gulls (umineko) and view natural art that can only be seen from the water, accompanied by a guide's commentary.

Day 2: Introduction to Sightseeing Spots
Ryusendo Cave
Known as one of the three greatest limestone caves in Japan, it is designated as a National Natural Monument along with the bats that inhabit it. The highlight is the underground lakes, boasting world-class clarity and a hue known as "Dragon Blue."

Kitayamazaki Sappa Boat Adventures
Enjoy a thrilling cruise on a small fishing boat (Sappa) to look up at the 200m-high cliffs of Kitayamazaki, one of Sanriku’s premier scenic spots.
